01

Specification customization

Manogauge can customize dial face design and logo printing, pressure range, wetted material, connection thread, case material, window type, fill fluid and packaging. Non-standard ranges, dual-scale dials and special case finishes are reviewed case by case. Send your full specification or drawing for a feasibility review before committing to an order. Minimum quantities for custom artwork typically start at 100 units per model; standard configurations are available from smaller quantities.

02

OEM branding and documentation

OEM orders can include calibration certificates, dimensional inspection reports, hydrostatic test records and material certificates. KS and EN837-1 related documents are confirmed by applicable model and destination market. Pre-production samples with your brand artwork are supplied before full production. Private-label packaging and consignment stock arrangements are available for established OEM buyers with defined volume agreements.

03

Who uses this service

Custom and OEM gauge orders come from HVAC OEMs, compressor and hydraulic equipment manufacturers, fire protection integrators, industrial skid assemblers and distributors who need branded instruments with consistent quality and export-ready paperwork.

04

Lead time and tooling

Standard custom configurations using existing tooling are typically ready in 2–4 weeks. Projects requiring new dial artwork or modified sub-assemblies add 1–2 weeks for artwork proof approval and pre-production sample sign-off. MOQ for private-label dial printing starts at 100 units per model; non-branded custom configurations can be lower. Confirm your timeline in the RFQ so engineering can flag any lead-time constraints before committing.

05

Pre-production samples and quality sign-off

Manogauge offers pre-production samples — also called golden samples or approval samples — for custom and OEM projects. The sample is manufactured to the agreed specification so the buyer can confirm fit, finish, dial artwork, units and pointer alignment before full production begins. Sample cost is quoted separately and is typically credited against the first production order. Inspection records and calibration certificates accompany every sample shipment.

06

Custom pressure gauge selection variables

Before quoting a custom pressure gauge, confirm whether the buyer needs a dry Bourdon tube gauge, liquid-filled vibration-resistant gauge, diaphragm seal assembly, stainless steel wetted parts, oxygen-clean service, vacuum range or dual-scale dial. The final drawing should state normal pressure, maximum pressure, process medium, temperature, accuracy class, case size, thread standard, mounting orientation and required certificates.

Final configuration still depends on medium, temperature, pressure, connection and documentation requirements.

APPLICATION

OEM compressor gauge program example

For a compressor OEM, a custom pressure gauge program usually combines branded dial artwork, consistent connection orientation, anti-vibration filling and repeatable packaging labels. The engineering file should define the normal discharge pressure, peak pressure, thread, panel clearance and whether the gauge is mounted on the machine or shipped as a spare part.

  • Approve dial artwork and pointer zero position on a golden sample.
  • Confirm filling fluid and case venting if the compressor is used outdoors or in cold rooms.
  • Keep a drawing revision number so repeat orders match the approved configuration.

What specification changes are possible?

Manogauge can review custom dial face design, logo or brand printing, non-standard pressure ranges, special thread types, alternative wetted materials, custom case finish and packaging. Send your drawing or datasheet for a feasibility check.

Can Manogauge produce gauges under my brand?

Yes. Send brand artwork, dial layout requirements and product specifications. OEM dial printing is confirmed by order quantity and model. A pre-production sample with your artwork is available before full production.

What quality documents are included with OEM orders?

Standard OEM documents include dimensional inspection reports, hydrostatic test records and calibration certificates. KS and EN837-1 related documents are confirmed by applicable model and market.

What should a custom pressure gauge drawing include?

A useful drawing should state pressure range, unit, dial size, thread standard, mounting orientation, wetted material, case material, fill fluid, artwork revision and required documents.

What is the MOQ for custom and OEM orders?

MOQ for private-label dial printing typically starts at 100 units per model. Standard gauge orders without custom artwork can be lower. Send your specification and target quantity for a confirmed MOQ.

Can I get a pre-production sample?

Yes. Pre-production samples or golden samples are available. Specify the gauge model, specification and sample quantity in the RFQ. Sample cost is typically credited against the first production order.

How quickly will I receive a quotation?

Standard custom and OEM RFQs receive an engineering review and quotation within 24 hours. Projects requiring new tooling or multi-product combinations may need 48–72 hours for a full response.
